Our vision and commitment at Grace Baptist Church is to plant as many churches as our God would enable us to plant. This is what the early church did, and this is what we are constantly involved in doing. When this is happening the Gospel is being preached in more and more places, and disciples are being trained and Christ is being glorified.
Like foreign missions, planting churches around us is an expensive and demanding venture; there are always challenges. But it is the Gospel ministry. What better thing can be done than to invade a city with the Gospel and eventually see a body of believers faithfully living there, holding out the Word of Life to the praise of our great Redeemer?! There is no greater joy than for a church to bring to birth such children!
Grace Baptist Church has planted a church in Commerce, Georgia (Grace Baptist Church). We are presently working at planting one in Asheville, North Carolina (Crosspoint Church). And we are poised to send out another church planter in the fall of 2010. Our prayer is that our great God will keep providing men and opportunities so that we may keep pursuing this noble work of planting churches.
