Each summer we put on a Vacation Bible School for the express purpose of reaching untaught children in our community. Usually in June, our people visit door-to-door in various neighborhoods inviting any and every child we meet. The school is held in the evenings, beginning with a snack supper all children are invited to enjoy, followed by a happy time of singing, Bible stories, games, and cookies. Parents of the children are invited to the snack supper on Tuesday and Thursday, followed by a “Tips on Parenting” workshop they can attend if they desire. The children are very important to us, and to see them laughing and playing and learning is one of the most fulfilling times of our year.
