John and Angie Callahan - Mission Schoolteachers, Brazil
John and Angie have served along the Amazon River in Brazil with New Tribes Mission since 1983.
They have 3 children--Max '89, Kip '90, and Roz '92. They are dorm parents
for about 25 teenagers. Their responsibilities also include being the camp
hostess and librarian, and teaching high school math and science classes.
Max- has graduated from New Tribes Bible School and is looking to the Lord
for direction as he desires to be in full time ministry. We are thankful
that he has a job, a car and a place to live in Columbus, OH where
he is involved in one of our supporting churches. Please pray: Max's
testimony at his job among unbelievers and that he would continue to mature
and grow in Christ.
Kip- is in his first year at New Tribes Bible School and is also looking to
the Lord for direction when he graduates in '11. He will be needing a summer
job for this coming summer. We are thankful that during the school year, he
has a job driving school buses with which he is able to pay his school
bills. Please pray: Kip would be learning much and growing in his
spiritual walk, and for a summer job.
Roz- is in her Junior year of high school. She will graduate in '11 and
plans to go to the New Tribes Bible School for 2 years. She is thinking of
attending some kind of nursing program after Bible School. Please
pray: Roz would continue to grow in her walk with Christ.
