Grace Baptist Church is the host church for RBS.  This "church-based" online seminary institution operates under the oversight of three local churches located in Taylors, SC, Grand Rapids, MI, and Sacramento, CA.  These three overseeing churches seek the input and counsel of an advisory board, an academic committee, and other likeminded churches. Furthermore, the seminary's faculty consists primarily of instructors who not only have biblical knowledge and teaching ability, but also are qualified pastors engaged in pastoral ministry. The students can continue to be involved in their own local churches and receive hands-on experience under the mentoring of their own pastors/elders.  RBS requires one of the student's pastors to serve as his mentor and proctor.  Several times a year, on-site modules are held in various locations, some of which will be held here in our facility. RBS exists primarily for the purpose of preparing men for the gospel ministry. Therefore, training men who aspire to the pastorate, as well as providing further training for men who are already engaged in pastoral labors shall be the main focus of the seminary. As an extension of the local church’s teaching ministry, the seminary exists secondarily to provide further instruction for laymen, including women, who desire to enhance their understanding of Scripture.  RBS now has students all over the USA and in a variety of countries all over the world.  Please visit the website for the Reformed Baptist Seminary at www.rbseminary.org
